BACKTOBACK Sounds 072 - Simone Ellis

A big warm welcome to Manchester based Simone Ellis who brings her deep rolling bassline to the February BACKTOBACK Sounds edition. We couldn't resist asking her to join the podcast after being introduced to her sound last year.

Q2: What were your highlight events last year?

Due to last year's restrictions I didn't manage to go to a lot of events or festivals that I would have liked to. But my two favourite highlights of last year would have to be Summer of Love & Hide and Seek festival.

Q3: Do you have any 2022 goals that you are happy to share?

Yes! My focus really is to get myself out there this year production wise, I’ve been producing for a couple of years now but only recently have I started to find my sound and become happy with what I’m producing. Now I've got my own studio at home i can really focus. I’ve got an exciting EP coming out early this year with a remix from an amazing artist!  

Q5: What makes the perfect B2B?

I would say a combination of 2 DJ’s with a similar style so they can bounce off each other and create the energy for a really good mix!
