Kinso is no stranger to hard work, alongside both these platforms, he is currently setting his ambitions high for this year, which you can find out more about below...

What style of mix have you gone for? The mix is mostly on the harder side of minimal with a blend of acid and electro. What DJs have inspired your sound? The likes of Josh Baker, Ricardo Villalobos, Den Haas & Djoko What’s your favourite part of the mix? Probably the intro, I’ve been listening to a lot of 90s rap so I was keen to try a sample from gang Starr to kick off the mix. How has the pandemic affected you? It’s put a hold on a lot of projects and my career progression but has allowed me to appreciate what I have and has taught me a lot.

Has your style of music/sound changed during lockdown? I’ve got into playing a bit deeper stuff, and overall refined my sound to put my own style on what I play without being stuck to one genre.

What do you think clubbing will look like in 2021? I think it’ll start to come back in summer and when it does the atmosphere will be unmatched, I’ve already been planning how I’m going to come back with freq and bring something fresh to the scene. What’s your top tip for surviving lockdown? Keep your mind stimulated and stay active, whether it’s reading a book, making art, cooking something new, going for a walk/run. I always seem to feel better after any of these and try to do them as often as possible.

Do you have any 2021 goals you are happy to share? To graduate uni with a 2:1 or above, to run the tough mudder to raise money for charity and to continue to grow my brand and throw parties.
