For those who aren’t familiar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself...
I am a DJ/ Producer from Amsterdam, Netherlands and co-owner of a Soulful House concept in Patronaat, with bookings from the likes of Fouk, Nachtbraker and Times Are Ruff. I have played multiple times in Berlin and other countries such as Belgium and Cambodia. Mixing up styles and moods, focused firmly on the dancefloor’s needs and desires, I aim to provide sets with big energy, precision and most of all, soul.
What style of mix have you gone for today?
A mixture between rolling bass-lines and house grooves.
What’s your favourite part of the mix?
The end part, deep bits.
When & why did you get in to djing?
Started djing at my eighteenth, played a lot of different genres through time, nowadays fully focussed where i started with; House.
What’s been your top tip for keeping going in lockdown?
Don't let the lockdown hinder your motivation to keep on doing what you love. In my case, music.
What other sounds/DJs have been on your lockdown playlist over the past few months?
Always heavily influenced by jazz and old hip hop & disco sounds.
If you only had the choice of one record to listen to throughout lockdown, what would you choose?
KOKO - Your Ass, My Camel Blue
