Another Friday, another GROUNDED mix. Joining us this week is UK based DJ, Reece Gayle, who is getting us in the weekend mood. Getting behind the decks is something quite new to Reece, but his passion for music and raving isn't. We spoke with Reece to find out how his love for music pathed the way to becoming a DJ and what he is most excited for as lockdown eases...

What style of mix have you gone for?

The style I've gone for is a tech house mix, with a deep baseline and added vocals. It's very different to what I would normally mix, which would be more tech house, but I wanted to go with something a bit different to please everyone.

What’s your favourite part of the mix?

My favourite part of the mix is 3:30 onwards, have a listen and let me know what you think!

What inspires you to play music?

My passion for music started from a very young age, I was in to all sorts of music and then found my passion for house. I like the way it brings people together, and it keeps my head straight and clear. I have always attended events and raves and always wanted to play my own, so I recently decided to start djing, and honestly it gives me the best buzz in the world!

What’s the first thing you’ll do when we are no longer ‘GROUNDED’?

The first thing I’m going to do when I’m not grounded is throw a big party, so stay tuned...
